Are American religious people like primitives living in an electronic jungle?

I mean, American religious people are some of the most gullible people on the planet. They are literally surrounded by technology that proves the Bronze Age myths they believe to be absolute bloody nonsense. Just like primitive jungle natives are surrounded by a jungle that sustains them but a jungle that they lack the scientific knowledge to understand, are American religious surrounded by a jungle they don’t understand too? But of course, it’s a jungle of electronics, concrete, steel and chemistry that is far too complicated for American religious people to understand, so they just go on believing their myths like jungle tribes?
