Oh what should i do!?

i am curremtly talking to a young lady that has a child. we are both 20 and her child is mixed(black and white) we are both white.the childs father has nothing to do with her and has never seen her and pays child support. she doesnt have any after high school education and probably wont go til her daughter is in grade school. she a wonderful gal. everything i could ask for in a woman. she comes from a lower cl family and i come from a middle/ higher cl family. i'm scared if i date her my family and the public will judge us because of her child. as if i could do better. i'm financially well i make over 55 thousand a year and am a volunteer firemen. at first the whole mixed child was bothering me but now thats not so much the issue. should i date her and walk into a ready made family when my family expects higher from me? its a huge responsibility to walk into just on a chance. and also if i dont date her i'd feel terrible to see someone so great have it so rough that i care about.
