Can a boy lift someone heavier then him?

ok well this boy in my cl claims he can pick me up... because this kid last year at school could lift me up and he said he is stronger then him so he can pick me up... ok but i honestly don't know... i had a dream about him being able to lift me up but that was just a dream... he wheres a men's XL and i am a women's medium plus he tall and im short he is 5'9 and im still like 4 something and we r both 12 in the 6th grade (this is my older cousins thing but she let me ask this on here because she didn't know the answer)
