Should i ditch her??? stand up for myself?

That's not okay for your friend to be treating you this way. And you should stand for it either. You have been a good friend by trying to help, and she is taking you for granted. My advice would be to talk to her one last time, and tell her everything that you've just told us here. Tell her how you feel about the way she's been treating you, and give her specific examples (missing your b-day, only hanging out with you when her boyfriend's at work, etc...) If she still doesn't seem to acknowledge how she's made you feel or even care, then it's time to let her go. She will have to learn the hard way that a boy should never come before a good friend, and you shouldn't treat your friends like that. Take care*
