I agree with you. Most of us were not born with a silver spoon in our mouths. Most of us who have gotten ahead in life did not get ahead by winning the lottery or by expecting someone else to take care of us. I got married right out of high school and had 2 kids by the age of 21. I married a guy that my parents did not approve of and unfortuntely they were right. I was divorced at the age of 23 with 2 children. I wanted to lay down at that point and let someone else take over because I was feeling so overwhelmed with the responsibility of raising 2 children and working a full time job on my own. But you know what? After feeling sorry for myself for about 2 weeks I decided this was the bed I made and I needed to deal with it and I did. I will not say it was easy ( IT WAS VERY HARD ) but I did do it with no help from parents or the government. I was way too proud to go to social services for help of any kind. Did my kids have it tough? Sometimes they did but they always had enough to eat, clean clothes to wear and a mother who loved them and they knew it. They are now well adjusted hard working kids who appreciate what it means to earn their way in life. Yes, I could have laid down and let the government take care of things but I would never have wanted my children to think it was OK to be lazy or to think it was someone elses responsibility to take care of them. It was MY responsibility. I love my kids and always wanted what was best for them and I don't understand ANYONE who dosen't want to set an example for their children the way I did for mine. Anyone who says the government should do more to take care of it's citizens to me is just lazy and thinks it's ok to take money from the hard working people to support that laziness. Bull----! Breakthrough bleeding...is it normal?

I have been on Loestrin 24 for over 6 months now. I have been experiencing some breakthrough bleeding with this last pack. I missed a pill one morning but took it right away that night, then never missed one after that. I have done that before but never had the breakthrough bleeding like I have had this time. At first I thought it was spotting but it was so heavy, dark, and had clots at times that it couldn't have been just spotting. Is that normal? I am supposed to start my period this coming Thursday.

She really sounds pretty typical. Children do not like sauces. Good for her on the no hot dogs or corn dogs! I remember my niece went through a phase where she would only eat apples and bananas. Children just do not need to eat as much as you think. Carrot sticks, green beans, and broccoli tops are great. Children will almost always reject any "recipe" dish. Serve plain food. Spiritual Healing and Sweet Potatoes?

I have a strange leg condition, I have had it for about 5 years now where when I am running my left leg, starting at about the left hip down will become sluggish and unresponsive after I have fun the first couple of miles. When this condition began it started as an intense pain right in my left hip, right where the pelvis and thigh meat. It seems to me it had to be a nerve condition (pressure on the nerve channel or damage to myelin sheathe) or some minor obsruction of the circulatory channel through the area. Prior to this I was a very avid runner, running many miles a day (this way sort of my escape from the pressures of life) and I could some how use this as a catalyst to turn negative anxiety energy into a positive productive energy. I know some may say this seems like whining, but when you have grown used to the habit (as I had for several years and had come to rely upon it to keep me feeling uplifted) it really takes ahold of you: I know some people don't even have the liberty to be able to walk, but I could run and as long as this was and is within my capacity, why should I not do everything in my power to fix my leg? Anyways I tried my doctor and a nerve specialist, and their results were inconclusive, but they didn't really seem to be striking at a point of interest whenever I made it, usually jostling me around to another specialist so that it seemed to me I could just (or my insurance) shell out more money between them. My dad finally got me to see a "spiritual healer" (I know it sounds strange), it was the mother of a girl that worked for him from california. She essed my leg and came to the conclusion that the "energy channel' through my left leg had been damaged. She said I had a strong action mentality and that I was a 'doer', and this was manifest in my right leg, but that I didn't feel supported (financially, and in the family etc.) which was at least partially true because I know my step dad and mother are both evil, and I am trying to find a way to make myself more independent of them in general and break off communication completely eventually. The lady also said that I had to eat sweet potatoes to increase the amount of "blue energy" that flowed through my left leg: I did and whenever I eat these I get pins and needles in my left foot for some reason and I does indeed feel like that part of my leg is healing (for instance, the left thigh will get sore like it is just recently recieving oxygen or the nerve is coming back to life in the area). Does anyone know what on earth is going on, i used to be kind of skeptical of spiritual aura, but not so at the moment. The lady even heard the music in my head that I was listening to when she looked at my leg, I was sort of freaked out (as if they could read my mind). Ok, well, I've been dating my boyfriend, Craig, for a year now. He's 17, and I'm 16, and he's been through a lot... His father was a drunk and Craig got beaten daily. He was so furious, he was swearing and yelling. I talked quietly to him, and held him close, and told him that he had every right to be angry, but that throwing things and yelling wasn't going to change things. He was so furious, he was nearly gasping for air between sentences. I managed to calm him down though, and he fell apart, crying. He vented for about an hour to me, and he seemed alright then, but I know damn well how much he's hurting. However, a couple hours ago, we went to the park, and we were sitting there, and he was talking to me about his father, and why he's so angry that he called (I was really glad how open he was with talking.) This kid from our school (total jerk) comes up behind us, after he had listened to us talking, and started teasing Craig, saying "Oh so daddy wanted his little punching bag back?" I couldn't believe someone would say anything like that, and Craig was furious. Him and this guy got into a fight, which only ended because a big guy came over and helped me split them up. Craig now has a black eye, a sprained wrist, and a broken finger. I'm getting so worried by all of this lately. I'm so angry at his father for calling and starting this downward spiral with Craig. He told me he was going to see his counselor in a couple days, but I can't stop worrying about him... What do I do? So heres the story... Ive like this guy since i was in 7th grade. He was in 11th. In November of my 7th grade year he asked me who I liked, and I told him it was him. He said: "Im to wild for you." I don't l know exactly what that means?? So he started textin me every night after that at 10:30. He never missed a night. And he would always talk to me about his girlfriend. He would send me stuff randomly like : "She said she loved me!' or "I took her out tonight with our youth group" Even when he knew i liked him. Then after they broke up he would talk to me about how mad he was that she had just used him to get over her last bf. We hardly talk anymore. But he would send me these fwd messages sayin stuff like: I love you forever and always dont you ever change..." etc.. Birth Control takes two days to get out of your system anyways. so since you took all three on the third day you should be alright. The lawyer started on us saying " you got something to say to me" at first we tried to let things go but he kept on and we finally had words. The lawyer then went back up to the judge told them of what happend but we came onto them first. I was then ordered into supervised vists as well as anger management as well as my bf. We completed that and my daughters father gave her back to me 50/50. ( I believe it was because I told him there was a spot in head start where she was ordered and he did not want to rake her there knowing hed be in contempt if he didnt) we came to an agreement she would stay in the daycare facility she was in ( that her stepmother worked for) A month later he wrote to the judge with lies most of which I was able to prove with statements from the school. I had an issue with the school because I saw her stepmother in the same cl with my daughter ( part of our cour torder agreement that they not be in the same cl). I took the issue to the ditrectors and they began yelling at me and my bf. They told me i wasnt welcome in the center because I was asking for too many statements and my bf wasnt welcome because of yelling and using profanity. We had on recording that they were the ones yelling at us and that could prove these things to be a lie but unfortunitly it was misplaced. At court the directors were there to stand up for my ex and lied against me again. The judge allowed my daughter to continue in the center she was in as well as put me back on supervised visits. I feel my ex got exactly what he wnted and will never give her back. She is in the center he wants out of convienence for him as well as me not in the picture. Please somebody give me some advise as to how to win my daughter back. 1994 Volvo 940 Overdrive Issue?

Hello! I remember as a child hearing pots move in kichen. and then seeing eyes on walls but they had stoped for 6 years and now they are back. Tonight it started all over again. I can swear that i closed a closet after puting my shoes in there and the closet is shut strong. And then i went to my room about an hour later i came out of my room and the closet was open. So i thought what the hell lets just close it. Then i went to kichen to take a drink of water. I turned on the light and then i felt strange in my body like someone was there! i looked behind me and there was no one. I was looking at the door way and drinking gl of water. When the gl was empty i turned to the sink and refilled it to take the water to my room. And when i turned around then i saw a "shadow being" a human shadow as tall as me fastly running in kichen door and dissapearing! Oh i forgot last year we was in a skyscr hallway suddenly lights turned on and you cant turn them on when you are on 16th floor you can turn them on when you are on 0 floor but no one was there it was only us. After the lights went on we saw a shadow moving up at speed that humant cant run 5 floors in matter of seconds! but enugh with that. I came out of my room again 2 hours later to go to toilet and the closet was open again. i closed it once more and went to toilet knowing that this cant be real! My building's maintenance worker flooded my apartment; now I'm given the run around regarding reimbursement.

I really need some help. LAST JUNE a maintenance worker came to repair my bathtub. Not only did he break the faucet, but flooded my apartment as well. The water was taken care of, but I have ended up with lots of damages to my personal belongings (carpet, paint, furnishings, etc.). I have tried since then to have the situation remedied, and after months of being ignored and pushed aside was told to make a list of damages with estimated cost to be given to the insurance company, which I promptly did. This was in February. I have tried to contact the office with no response, left messages for the person who is taking care of my issue (I call the office two to three times a week, and she has yet to be working any day I call), and have finally gotten to the end of my rope. What do I do from here? I really don't want to go to small claims court for fear of having trouble with the building corporation or being evicted, and I don't have renter's insurance. I have two Red-eared turtles that I've had for about 6 now. And I enjoy them and clean their tank once a week but I'm beginning to feel bad for them because I think they should be able to experience a real pond with other turtles, fish, frogs and other aquatic creatures. So I thought I had missed my ovulation window so I stopped using my ovulation tests. I started having mittelschmerz yesterday morning and it just got worse throughout the day and I didn't think twice about it...so it's about 6pm and its the worst of that day and my husband said to take an ovulation test. So for the heck of it I did and its a smiley face!!!! So we BD a half hour later. I also used PreSeed which I heard can be useful in getting pregnant since it mimics CM. I still had mittelschmerz throughtout the evening but not nearly as bad as it was and this morning I took another ovulation test to see if I still had a LH Surge and it was negative and I feel tender around my abdomen but really nothing that bad...just maybe a twinge? Can conception still have occured if I was a few hours away from ovulation? I know the ovulation test I used (ClearBlue Easy Digital) said that when you have a positive, it means you'll be ovulating in 24-36 hours. I just want to know if we could have concieved or if I was too close to ovulation for anything to occur.

Why did our Husky attacked our small dog?

My brother has a 4 year old, 50 lb female Husky. The other day, with NO warning, she attacked my 9 lb 10 year old Shih Tzu. All my dog did was walk by her on the way out of the room. She grabbed ahold of her by the neck and jerked her until my Mom pried her off. My dog has several bite marks and a slipped Cervical Disk in her neck. The husky used to bother my dog years ago, but not this severly. She almost killed her this time and I don't know why. The worst part is, the Husky doesn't think she did anything wrong. She didn't submit or even look guilty when she was yelled at. I am trying to keep them separated, but it is a small house. I'd say both those tripods are over-rated and over-priced. Wal-Mart has one just as good as both of those for about 20 dollars. For a tripod of that type you shouldn't spend more then that. With the lightweight camcorders and cameras of the digital age, the only thing you need is the most basic. If you're worried about the camcorder staying still in heavy winds or while moving in a vehicle you weight down the tripod with a gym bag or what ever is handy.
